Innumerable channels (Gracht), small and large, run through the Dutch city of Amsterdam, just like in Venice, but in a much more systematic
way. The center is surrounded by four concentric circles that represent an excellent point of orientation and that need to extend only far enough
to reach the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.

Housing of the city typically features houses that are narrow and hanging, and that can be found in colors ranging from black or grey to tones
between red and purple. But there are also many houses in the city whose major feature is that they are floating: today there are 3000 inhabitants
in Amsterdam who live on boats (there even exists a museum that simulates life in a house that rocks in the water). Other great attractions of the city include the famous red
light district known as De Wallen and many coffee shops authorized to sell cannabis.
Amsterdam is also a city of bicycles, that sometimes by will of the owner and sometimes not, end up in the channels (this idea now extends to cars: the
act of «Smart tossing»
is, in fact, the latest trend in Amsterdam).
